The Youth Programs

Centro Hispano runs nine programs: seven in Dane County middle schools and two in high schools.

The Centro Hispano Youth Programs rely on the help of community services, schools, volunteers, parent involvement, and the participation and dedication of the students.

The Youth Programs help Latino/a students to achieve their highest academic potential, participate in social and cultural activities.

Pictures of the Summer program

ASPIRA

This program provides tutoring services and vocational orientation to high school students. These students participate in cultural and educational activities that promote the prevention of alcohol and other drug abuse.

Futhermore, the students are guided in exploring options for further education following graduation from high school.

JUVENTUD

Provides academic support and tutorial services for middle school students. Students participate in cultural, recreational and educational activities. Parental involvement is highly encouraged.

JUVENTUD MAS

Provides academic and tutorial services for middle school students with an emphasis on math and science. Vocational orientation and educational as well as recreational activities are also implemented.
