• Provision of bilingual services and assistance to clients in search of employment, housing, health care and other individual needs…and needs are many
• Job search and placement assistance: identifying and maintaining links with local employers
• Provision of a general overview of employment opportunities, as well as help with resumes and job applications
• Language assistance between employers and employees Works with Dept. of Workforce Development: i.e., wages paid/hour
• Advocating on behalf of worker’s rights and referrals to specialized organizations such as the Interfaith Coalition for Worker Justice
• Provides help in identifying affordable housing Help in understanding leases and contracts
• Language assistance between landlords, managers, and tenants
• A small fund for rent assistance to prevent home evictions
